Prerequisites
- Candidates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English
- Candidates must be fit and able to carry out basic people handling techniques
- A background in care or training is preferred but not essential .
- Assessment is by written exam followed by a practical assessment on the last day.
- Attendees should be confident in Moving and Handling of People and ideally a minimum of 5 years experience.
