This Safeguarding Adults for Managers and Leaders (Level 3) course is designed for managers, team leaders, senior care staff, and safeguarding leads who have responsibility for overseeing safeguarding practices within adult health and social care services.
The course provides an in-depth understanding of safeguarding legislation, guidance, and best practice, enabling learners to effectively manage safeguarding concerns and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and person-centred care. Delegates must be 18 years of age or over to attend this course.
Whilst previous safeguarding training is not essential, learners will benefit from having experience within a health and social care environment and an understanding of their organisation's safeguarding responsibilities.
Learners should have a good understanding of written and spoken English to enable them to participate in discussions, reflective activities, case studies, and assessments.
A willingness to engage in reflective practice, discussion, and the exploration of real-life safeguarding scenarios is essential to maximise learning and successfully complete the course.
