As part of the CQC requirements, Health and Social Care personnel are required to undertake Mandatory and Statutory Training. The CQC regulations are not clear as to what Mandatory refresher training is required. This is why Mitera Training Academy have aligned their All in 2 Day Refresher to the prescribed Skills for Care Essential Training programme. Course price is for 10 learners or less.

Medication Awareness Webinar is ideal for care homes, domiciliary care and those working in a health and social care environment who require the skills and knowledge to correctly and confidently administer, process and dispose of a range of medications. Mitera's Medication Awareness course ensures CQC compliance alongside other legislations such as the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and The Human Medicines Regulations 2012.

The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. The Care Certificate is made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are 'new to care' and should form part of a robust induction programme. It was developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health.

This course is designed to look at presenting behaviours, understanding in which context these are occurring and the need behind them (Behaviour as a form of Communication). The training will centre on equipping staff with skills and confidence to proactively manage negative behaviours, by having a consistent approach to implementing techniques learnt. PBM training is recommended to be refreshed or renewed periodically to maintain skills and stay up to date with evolving best practices.
